panoramic software

Hiya i just wondered if anyone can help.

I am creating a vitural tour and i was wondering what are the best panoramic software to use i dont wnat my images to lose quality but i want the program to stich them together i am using a 6.1mp camera and there are great but when i stich them with the serif program they lose quality why is this happening?

Please help? i would like to know if there are any other panoramic software whihc produces good qualtiy 360 views.

I use Autostitch, and as long as you go into the options and set things correctly, the only quality you loose is that you (could) be/are going from 16 bit TIFF's to 8 bit Jpegs.
