comparing PaintShopPro & PhotoShop is like comparing notepad to Word 2003
. . . . no that was harsh, I meant to say it's like communicating with morse code versus a cell phone.

Photoshop is much better if you're going to use very advanced features. That's why it costs so much. PSP, on the other hand, is a wonderful program for the novice user and provides plenty of basic features and tools. You can save yourself hundreds of dollars with PSP if you aren't in need of the gigantic conglomerate of features Photoshop offers.

ty ReverseFluxx, i'll stick with PSP for the moment then ... i am fairly new to computer graphics etc

I use photoshop for ALL my graphics. I started out just over a year ago in photoshop elements two.... it sucked hard. I couldn't do ANYTHING I wanted to do.... well except anno pb markers...... but that was the only thing I could do, lets compare my BEST Elements work to my BEST photoshop work.
