Need help with website

Hi guys i am in some need of help for my website, for most of it i have coded it by looking at tutorials and just trying to interpret the code however i have come unstuck

my web page when viewed isnt centred and for some people changes size if they have a different screen etc.

this is how the website looks for me and how i want it to look

if you can see its quite simple with the header, footer, nav bar, nav side and content

i want for people no matter what screen size for the website to remain centred and structured properly

where i used the float function in the css on the content box on peoples screens the content would be stuck to the right and the rest would be on the left.

i would like the text to stay the same in my image , on ome peoples screens it goes to two lines of links in the nav bar

for now i using this instead of wriping away my old homepage

when you are on the page you can view my coding using the view source function where you can click to see my css coding also, i only use five images, and thats the banner, nav bar side, content box, footer and the site background


the links do not work at the moment as i see them as alast to do thing the first is to get the main look and design done then i can re do all the old pages and link them accordingly
