My new website design. Need some input

I just did a complete overhual of my website, www.sevoma.net

I want to improve it even more though. Above the overview of the plans is a big white space. I want to remove it so the page is a bit smaller. I cannot do it without destroying the entire table. Any ideas?

Second, the buttons look like crap. I tried to make them with nice clean text but it didn't work out. If I provide the source images, can someone attempt to put some nice text on them?

I would use Macromedia to design and tweak a website. I have a website in progress with Dreamweaver, and it looks awesome. I just need to learn a bit of Flash before uploading it to the net.

What did you design the website with?

I designed it bye hand, dreamweaver, cs2, nvu, and the gimp.
