Just an idea but maybe you should try offering a free sample of your DVD tutorials so people know what they will be purchasing. Maybe offer a lesson for free such as "Learning the max interface" or something along those lines. Also, I couldn't find any links on your web page, just text. Thought that was strange. It does seem like spam, try doing what I said. Good luck.
