Guest sign in

I've been doing some simple personal pages for a while, but never one with a sign in sheet. I've started a site for me and my fiancee's wedding and people are wanting to be able to sign in.

I'm using dreamweaver 2004 and fireworks.

You will need to learn PHP, ASP, or any other server-side programming language. You can make simple password protected javascript scripts, but... these are ridiculously easy to bypass. If you want any actual authentication whatsoever, you need a server-side programming language.

I recommend PHP and MySQL to do the job. Go spend some long hours getting the basics of PHP down from a site like:

It's a pretty simple script to write, but you'll need to at least know the basics...then I'll help you.
