Default Creating this Gif Image

I have been trying to find a sufficient program to enable me to recreate a gif image similar to the link provided below, where pictures are rotated on a film like strip.

Below is the link of the example gif i want to make.
Happy Birthday from VIllage Cinemas

Any help in reguards to this matter would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Adobe Photoshop CS4 or Photoshop+ImageReady, or Adobe Flash, or some other animation program.

However, that is a really bad approach because the image is like 1MB, so it will take a while to load for some people. You should do this with Javascript or Flash instead.

Thanks for that, 1mb is not to bad.
In terms of using flash and making something like that could you please steer me in the right direction in what i need to do? or what exact tools in flash i will need to use to create that rotating film strip?

Is this a hard process?

You would need a pretty good understanding of Flash and Actionscript to do that. Using Javascript would be easier, but you'd still need a good understanding of Javascript.

You should Google some free Flash or free Javascript slideshows or image rotators and see what you can find.
