Coding a photoshop web design

hey i'm a total noob in web design and i'm trying to learn so please bare with my question... i'm interested in web design but i dun understand how to code a web design that are design in photoshop into a actual site.. how is this done? does anyone has any tutorial or forums to recommend? thanks alot in advance..

Use slices for images that have effects.

Use hotspots to make hyperlinks:
