Best Forum software?

Hi guys,
Out of the following,which forum software is most popular and what features makes it popular?
1.vBulletin
2.SMF
3.Invision Power Board
4.phpBB

I will only consider two options personally and that is vBulletin if you want to pay or phpBB if you want it free.

vBulletin I must admit is the defacto standard and has such great support.

If you don't want to pay or don't need all the features than phpBB is outstanding as well and has many mod/hacks and they will be releasing a new Olympus version to compete with all the other top boards soon. Just make sure to make sure phpBB is always up do date as with any other software or it will be hacked

IPB is a good bored, but who wants to give out there cash for the sake of it where there are good free boards available.

PHPBB is good because its free. But I detest the interface.

VBulletin sounds good, but I'm not sure on pricing.
