Found this on the Apple website. Very interesting article about the Virginia Tech's Super Computer consisting of 1,100 Xserve dual 2.3ghz G5 modules all networked together for a common cause.

The Xserves had the original 90µ process PPC970 chips when the towers had the 130µ chips. Thus this represented a huge decrease in overall cooling needs and power consumption.
