slot loading Imac shuts off after 10sec

I got a slot loading Imac that shuts off after 10sec. I have osX and update firmwear. Can anyone help me.

Can you describe how it shuts off?
It might be your video card. This is quite common in G3 iMacs

It's like theres a ghost in the machine, I turn it on it boots fine, and then 5min it will just shut off, sometimes i can use it for an hour or 2 with no problems and all of a sudden it will just shut off.

What I'm asking is, does the screen do anything, uh, funky before it shuts off?
No matter, its definitely your logic board. Call your local dealer and tell them whats going on, they should be able to fix it pronto.

no the screen does not do anything weird. Its working and all of a sudden it shuts off..
