I have a 13.3 inch white MacBook and the hard drive failed so I am going to try and replace it myself because I bought it all the way back in 2007 and the warranty is no longer valid, therefore Apple wants to charge me $225 to do it. Anyway, I found the instructions but I have been unable to find the proper size of the drive. Could someone tell me where I could purchase drives of the appropriate size? Thank you.

2.5" wide x 9.5" tall. Your install looks easier than mine. I had to take the top case off but nevertheless it was still an easy install which only took me 5 mins.

Sweet thanks. Would anyone happen to know any special deals that are going on right now?

Sorry for the double post, but what do people think of this drive?

It'd be a 2.5" drive, and you can buy them from any PC hardware retailer really. Nothing special needed.
edit: wow. I think I wrote the above then fell asleep for 10 minutes before posting lol. I need me some sleep...
