Yeah, it does look like a fine computer. The thing that makes me favor getting a Windows based system is that I have all this software for them. I already own Cakewalk Pro studio 9, Adobe photoshop 7, Office 2k pro, and some others. Those progs cost at least 400 new.

Yeah get the Windows machine. It wouldnt be a sound decision at all to get a completely new platform when you have all your apps for a different platform. Even though Im a mac zealot and will try feaverishly to get people to go Apple, theres no reason to waste money rebuying software you already have so it will work for a different platform.
