OLD Jaz drive with new PB?

I recently unearthed my old 1GB Jaz drive from storage, and I was wondering if it will work with my new powerbook? We're talking old. I believe it's Circa 1997. I used it with a Macintosh Performa 550 and 575. I was running Mac OS's 7.x at the time. Any precautions I should take before hooking it up?

Should work, so long as its USB or can connect to a USB adaptor.

You can get a scsi to USB adapter for that jaz drive (I have one) it works wonders.
