So you don't have to reach down and hit the physical button. Allows you to be lazy. Also, there ARE models with no eject buttons, but I believe all the Powermacs have them.

Yeah, there is. Bind a key to eject the tray.

You can eject the tray without pressing the button by right clicking on it in explorer and hitting eject, so it has to be possible.

Not full or otherwise weird functionality. I've tried using a Windows keyboard with a Mac and it did some weird things

Yeah, and a mac keyboard on Windows is weird, alt is "Windows" and Apple is alt, oh and clear is numlock. Other then that, its all the same.

Its strange...the day Apple announces the death of the G5, Pontiac announces their new Chevy Cobalt twin, the G5 I wonder if Pontiac and Apple were in cahoots with eachother?

Anyways. I'm a little disappointed at the lack of a camera or remote control...
But otherwise its still an amazing machine and I look forward to never being able to afford one .__.'
