networking scanner on 3 macs

Hello,

I have a Microtek Scanmaker 9800xl. the specs say that it can only be shared by PCs only, but i'm assuming that's only if you want to use the included software. is it possible to share the scanner on 3 Macs (all OSX) and be able to choose which Mac to send the scan to?
