IS it my video card?????

im currently playing bf1942 with desert combat installed on my imac. Its weird at begining everything worked perfectly but now with my reso. of 1680#1050 it lags hardcore. It says on box recommended: G4 867mhz, 256 of ram and radeon 7500. My iMac is way over those specs. Even when i turn reso to lowest it lags... i cant understand why.. but it does lag less online please helppp?????

Wow...I think that maybe, just maybe, your res is too high. Lower it some, and try again.

yea.. lags less but even at lowest res it lags... its pretty weird

I have bad experience with putting resolutions higher up...I think this could be the problem.

Has is always been that res?

Are you playing online, cuz if you are, try a different server?

lagging in what way? players are lagging on MP, or do you mean you are getting low frames per second?

How much ram do you have? If the computer is having to dig into the Virtual Memory, then it would definitely lower performance.

Also, have you turned off/restarted your computer? Sometimes my iBook does this with The Sims 2 and I just restart and everything is fine.

your ibook can run the sims 2? i havent played the sims 2 ... it should run on my powerbook... im gunna check it out.

is it at all like the original sims?
