Guys 'n' Gals

A month or so ago I tried to plug my falsh drive(bought in popvoucher)into my MAC to send some photos. The USB said it was being charged but the MAC seems to have no linking that it's connected. I can't force it to pick it up when it can't see anything there at all. I've not been able to connect it to the MAC since

Can anyone suggest what might (not) be happening?

It sounds as if the device is formatted to work with Windows not Mac. Try formatting it to a Mac format.

i would be willing to bet the flash drive is formatted as NTFS. i wouldn't reformat it as a Mac filesystem as i'm presuming you still want intercompatability with Windows machines. check out NTFS-3G: Stable Read/Write NTFS Driver

while i have never used it on a Mac OS i can vouch for it's function and stability under various linux distributions. it seems they do have working drivers for Mac.
