You just need to activate spaces in your system preferences. I use VM fusions emulator to run windows. It allows you to run Mac and PC operating systems at the same time. I then will put VM in one space running Windows. I have to admit this is pretty cool to do. One of the great points about this software is that it allow you to drag and drop files between OS's! I think they have a free trial available. I partitioned off 10Gigs and that seems to work well.
