EDIT AGAIN: I may crash and burn here because I don't actually know if the McBook will run 2142.....

If the Mac can't play the game 2142, you can always boot into Windows on the Mac and play it that way with no problem.

Can you boot into OSX on your PC and use Garageband?....Didn't think so.
