Macbook RAM

Hi, I really want a Black MacBook. I was wondering about the RAM, when I go to newegg and click on memory do I have to go to Mac Memory or can it just be 200pin ddr2 notebook memory? It would make upgrading about $100 dollars less if so.

Any DDR2-667 SO-DIMMS will do. I used Corsair's in my Macbook Pro.

Yeah, don't buy from Apple, it's so overpriced
I bought a pair of 1GB sticks from Outpost.com for $159.99 w/ free shipping
These are the spec's
DDR2 2GB PC5300 DUAL SO- 2X1GB SPEED 667MHz

Although I don't see Outpost with the same deal right now (currently $249.99) but keep an eye out, every now and then they have these super sales.

Yeah, I got mine off New Egg also. I got a killer deal and ended up with 2 GB of RAM. I love my MacBook now, lol.
