Macbook Battery Almost Failed

How can you say something “almost" failed? I mean, it either failed or it didn't…right? Wrong. According to this guy, even though the battery ballooned out like this...the **** thing it still works.

Geez, I can understand what he means, but he also need to keep in mind that it isn't safe to use the thing with the battery like that.
