Default Mac OS 10.4 Dial up Error

I have a customer that is continuously receiving the error "no carrier signal detected" She is running a G5 and OS 10.4 Tiger. I have checked all of her settings and find nothing wrong. What am I missing? Any help is appreciated.

Thank you,

OK, can she connect on other computers, and can the G5 connect to other numbers?

No, she only has the one computer and I have tried several different #'s. She has taken the computer to a repair store and they checked it out. Everything appears to be functioning properly. I have tried the Internal Modem v92 & v90 and they both get the same response "no carrier signal detected". The Telco has checked the line and is able to connect from her phone line on a different computer, so it isn't the phone line.

Ok, I figured it out. She has a crappy phone line which was causing part of the problem. I had her use the internal modem 56k v34 and she is up and running. Just thought i'd let yall know. Thanks again for the assistance.
