mac memory and graphics cards

Hi

I want to get a mac pro and was wondering if I could buy 2 gigs of ram from apple, and then buy 2 gigs from somewhere else and put them in myself when the machine gets here. is this possible or do mac pros use something other than the standard DDR2 240pin DIMM?

also i was wondering if i can upgrade my graphics card in my mac pro in the future. like if i buy another PCI-E card next year can I replace it with whatever the mac pro comes with. Thanks

Well i am sure you can. But opening the Mac Pro would void any warranty and also prevent you from getting any kind of support from them.
