Laptop's?

Forgive a noob.

I have seen what the wonderful world of Mac's can do so I was thinking that it's time to take it to the next step. I have been thinking about a Mac Laptop (iBook or something), not for gaming obviously but for general use.

What would you recommend?

Unless you need a lot of power, an iBook should do for you. The 14" model, if you have the money, is what I suggest.

I recomend the 14" also. I want to get one soo bad. I am thinking about selling my pc for one.

Yah man the ibook series is great I use one 4 school they issue them to us every year to all the kids here.

yep get yourself ibook G5 or G4 just make sure you get Tiger lol they should already but still lol.

LoL, yeah, the iBook is a great choice for Mac Newbs and Pros alike

Yup, the iBook is perfect if you're interested only in personal use.

I grabbed the 15" power book to help speed up application development. Plus the silver is very pretty

Dark_Sniper*: There are no G5 laptops. They run so hot, they need water cooling.

I thought IBM recently developed a cooler running G5 that could be put in laptops?

It doesn't matter anyways, because soon they will be switching to Intel.

A friend of mine has a Ibook, quite nice. But i would wait until the Intel Macs come in.
