Korg TRITON and GarageBand

Hello thread:

I have a Korg Triton and I'm trying to set up my MIDI so that the sounds from the Triton will show up in GarageBand. I have a MOTU 828 and a MOTU Fastlane USB digi-interface. Can someone help? Thanks! 8D

MIDI out of your korg into your interface, MIDI out of your interface into the MIDI input of your korg
USB is bi-directional whereas MIDI is uni directional

check your manual on how to do this but it should be similar to this:
go into your korg utilities and set the MIDI to external(sends MIDI events out)
make sure in garage band you are accepting MIDI events
