I've recently obtained a copy of Mac OS-X 1.4 Tiger. It's not on a CD. The files are stored in a folder. The names of the files are as follows:
tiger-xiso.r00
tiger-xiso.r01
(continuing to...)
tiger-xiso.r29 (which WinRAR detects as archive files)
__________
tiger-xiso.r30
tiger-xiso.31
(continuing to...)
tiger-xiso.53 (which have their extensions assigned to no programs that exist on this PC)
__________
tiger-xiso.rar
and
tiger-xiso.nfo

I don't know exactly how to execute this, being that these are the only files I see, no exe's. Could someone please tell me what to do?

Those are ISOs, CD images. Since its farily obvious these aren't legitimate copies I doubt you'll get much help considering that most people don't want to be named as accessories to felonies.

.rar is a pretty much windows only compression system... why are you getting a mac OS compressed like that?

Because I'm setting it up on a computer running XP, not Mac.

Wow, no. Dude. Thats not how this stuff works. For all intents and purposes you need a Mac to run the Mac OS (there is a way to do it on a PC, but it requires mad skills, one of which is an intimate knowledge of the workings of operating systems in general).
