What stupid non-sense are you talking about!?!?!?!??!? Macs and Windows PCs use the same damn RAM! Stop trying to come up with bullsh*t trying to make Macs look so expensive.

Lasha, I think you read it wrong. What I ment was get a little bit of ram included (I dont think you can get noen) and then buy 1 gig of pc3200.
If you go here:
http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APP...eQuxlKijR/0.0.11.1.0.6.9.1.2.21.3.1.1.0?22,19
To Upgrade from 256mb to 1gb it costs $225 (at this time anyways). It would be cheaper to buy some value ram for $120-$140.

I dont think the term "Windows PCs" is correct either. I use linux on a PC. Just because the majority of the world uses winblows it shouldn't be called windows pc.

I like macs too. They are well worth the money and I am not trying to make them look expensive. Sure they could be cheaper, but the point I was trying to make was that you could get some components for it cheaper.

Youre absolutely right. You can save quite a bit on Apple products if you go sparingly on user upgradable parts so that you can save money using third party upgrades.
