Default Forward/Back Mouse Buttons on Mac Mini

Just finished setting up a Mac Mini (late 2014 with Yosemite) that was gifted to me. It's my first time ever using a Mac. I installed Google Chrome on it and my forward/back mouse buttons don't work. I looked at the mouse settings and there is no options for these buttons.

That is the mouse I am trying to use. Is there some software that is necessary?

Indeed, they do not support Mac OS, which is most unusual these days...

They might release OSX drivers at some point, in the meantime you'll have to suffer the lack of functionality, or get another mouse unfortunately!
