Core2Duo macbooks

anyone know when core2duo macbooks are coming out?

are they going to bring back a 12" screen?

You had me excited. I was like NOWAI!! SZOMG!

They won't be bringing back the 12" screen, and no one knows when they'll be coming out. I even called Apple and lied and said I was thinking about getting a Macbook Pro but didn't want to get and have a newer faster better cheaper one come out next week, and they wouldn't tell me anything.

grrr... they'll probably come out after xmas... try and clear out the stock room first, ya know

Core2Duo MacBooks probably won't happen until the Core2Duo MacBook Pros. Then the MacBooks will get the faster Core Duos from the older MacBook Pros. Its iBook/PowerBook logic. Apple always does that. They take an older processor and put it in the iBook and sell it as a speedbump model. They'll more-than-likely do the same with the MacBook Pro and MacBook.
So, expect a Core2Duo MacBook Pro before a MacBook

It is my opinion that the Macbook Pros will get Core 2 Duos, and the Macbooks will stay at Core Duos, maybe getting a speed jump to 2.16Ghz.
