I made a copy of my Leopard CD on my hard drive in case anything happens to my original copy. I was wondering is there anyway to boot the dvd and reinstall leopard using an external hard drive or an ipod?
Of course. You just have to have a program to write disk images to other media. Then when you have the image written to the media, hold down ALT as the Mac starts up and select the media you want.
