Apple Intel-based Notebooks

How much do you think the Intel-based Notebooks will go for once they come out?

I'm looking into buying an apple iBook with the new processor, just curious about the price. Anybody out there to take a stab in the dark?

Powerbook in its renamed form ("MacBook Pro") now has the Intel Core Duo (Yonah) is the same price as the PPC 15" Powerbook was. I would guess that, at least for the first generation, the same will hold true with the iBooks, possibly also to be renamed.

They're gonna change iBook's processor too? I wish they wouldn't, 'cause then they'd be changing it to a sucky name. >.<

Well, they didn't change the iMac to a crappy name.

I have a hunch that only models that start with "Power" will be affected.

what will they call the power macs?

lets see. powerbook g4 was turned into macbook pro, so they removes power and replaced it with mac, and changed g4 to pro.

my guess is they'll call the powermac g5's .... "MacMac Pro" lol
