Add Home Videos to Ipod

How do I add Home Videos to my ipod

the videos are already edeted and on my computer i just need to add them to my itunes video library

how can i do this?

File -> Add to library

Right click on it, convert it to iPod format (it will not delete the original).

Then plug your iPod in.

it dosnt say convert to ipod format

also, im using a PC

It should say convert to something, it is an option. If it plays in iTunes, then iTunes can convert it to iPod format. Alternatively, you could find some other program that will encode the video h.264, or mpeg-4 as a *.mov, *.mp4 or *.m4v, which will play on iPods without conversion.

its a mpeg and i can just use windows movie maker to change it

it dosnt play in itunes, i try to drag and drop in to the movie section but it dosnt go
