are you preparing for CCIE?

i have been preparing for this for a couple of years now in conjunction with my current certifications. i don't think that i'll be ready for that class/lab for another year or two. i have a couple other interests in mind before the ccie (like ccip and ccdp). it's a really big deal! and i'm the type of person that doesn't like to fail an exam. i want to take my time and be sure to pass the first time. i learned that lesson years ago when i took my hardware A+ exam. i failed the first time around thinking that it was so easy. granted, i failed by only 2 points, but that was a couple of points that costed me an extra $100. the ccie is rughly $1500! ever since then though, i haven't failed another exam.....don't plan to either ;)
there is a huge waiting list to take this exam and it's pretty expensive. i would love to bounce ideas back and forth with ya. what other certifications do you currently hold?

CCNA,CCDA,CCNP,CCDP,CCIE written,Ip telephony support specialist,wireless support specialist and design,Pix,MCSE,MCSD

nice, i'm looking for the pix as well fairly soon.
so what kind of ideas did you have in mind? did you already setup your mock lab?

What is ccnp and and ccie like? My school is doing a ccna course as one of the options in 6th form. I'm only 14 so i got a year and a half til 6th form, but I plan on taking this course then, and after taking ccnp at a uni.

How long is the ccnp and ccie courses?

thanks Trif.
