XP Home/2000 network question

Hello, I have a SQL server setup here at work and all computers are running on 2000(1 Server 2 workstations and one Digital CCTV computer)
I have another unit I am trying to get on the network that is running xp home. Everytime I try to browse to the server(from the xp machine) to get files it asks for a password, no other 2000 machines ask for it. The server is allowing anyone.

What to do?

workgroup or domain environment?

XP Home can not join a domain or workgroup that is why you are getting promted for a username and pass.Just enter the username and pass of the admin of the server you are trying to access.
