X-fire restarts D-link router!

hey i never had this problem with default router settings but now that i set up me network...............i'll try to connect to xfire and then it boots offline my router its a dllink DI-524
it does this twice before stabilizing. each time i try to connect to xfire.
causing windows to say network cable unplugged the aquirring network address.
PLEASE help,
maybe there is a way to port forward the xfire program through the router. but wat port and settings?

i have that same router, however i havent had a problem connecting to IM clients. However, when i'm using wireless, then it has trouble.

But, under hard-wire ethernet, i've had no problems...

on to the problem,

try resetting the router (there is a pin-hole at the back of the router, unplug everything, including power, and push it for 5 secs.)

Well this really shouldnt be happening, when a router does something like this I get terribly worried.

Try resetting it and upgrading the firmware. If that doesnt work, throw it out the window and get a better router
