I just got a new router as mentioned above. Does anyone have this and have installed the software that came with it? I don't think I have to, because my other routers works without management software. This is the most widely used router, so one of you must have experience.

None of the computers in my home have any software installed. Our wrt54g works just fine.

i have used it, if the work ROUTER is assigned, you dont need software. all routers are accessible via browser interface.

now a very good router though.
