Workgroup password problems

Hello everyone!!!! Im trying to connect to another computer to share some files, but when ever i try to access his computer it asks me for a password but there is no password. No one put in a password. The same goes for when he tries to access my computer...it asks for a password. We are on the same workgroup name so i can see his computer but i cant access it...This is getting frustrating, so could someone please help!!!

what use account did it automatically put in? if you can type one in, put in the administrator user name and password

it put in "PHIL\Guest" automatically. and no, i cant put in another user name, i am the admin, and there never was a password

Nevermind sry guys...figured it out...the computer descriptions were the same under system properties. thx anyway
