is there a obvious or noticable difference (when connected to ISP) between a 11 Mbps and a 108 Mbps? I don't get it..

is'nt that one hundred megabits per second? (little b)

Will the slower one effect dl speed?
im confused.

thanks

Well, the exact bandwidth speed that they tell you you can get doesn't matter directly because speeds that quickly for internet are practically impossible at this day and age...

You must however remember that even if you're not getting the data from the interent all that quickly, you do need to get the data from the router as fast as possible... not to mention that a higher signal strength will be more apt to break through certain resistance (signal blockage) a lot better.

What DOES matter however is the LAN connections between computers and the router... You will, as I have, notice a marked difference between the 11 and 108 wireless transfer speeds when it comes to file transfers and network play...

Well, if you're using it strictly for internet access, I would say not.

If you're using it for file/resource sharing, I would go with as fast a connection as I could reasonably afford.
