wireless repair

hello everyone,

i have a wireless internet connection and when i get disconnected i have to click on the connection icon and choose repair for it to connect again. Is thier any software or way i can make it auto repair so i dont have to keep doing it manually.

Are you using DHCP to obtain an IP address, or did you set a static IP address? If it's set to DHCP, try assigning it an IP address and see if you're still having the problem. The most likely issue is just that you have your DHCP lease expiring too early and your network connection isn't asking for a new IP for some reason.

hi thanks for reply, i am using DHCP but i think my lease is fine iv had problems with my connection since day one, I think it might be an isp or hardware problem, but is there a way to do auto repair? as having to manually click repair is a pain.

I don't know about any sort of auto-repair application, however this may give you a little more information on how to stop the connection from being lost.
