I recently got a laptop and would like to set it up so that i could print without having to unhook my printer from my desktop computer. So, I was curious what is the cheapest and easiest way to do this?

if you have xp, you can share your printer from your desktop by configuring a small home network. after you have done that, you should be able to see the shared printer, connect to it, and print to it. you will only be able to print if the desktop pc is on.

it has a built in wireless card in it so it can also do the same thing. but thats kind of pricey so im assuming that you dont want to do that.
