Wireless Network Works Half the Time, Verizon FIOS

There are 2 desktops in my house and we use a linksys wireless b router to connect them

My computer is directly connected to the router and always works perfectly but for some reason my parents computer internet connection only works half the time from the second we got our new internet, verizon FIOS, it worked fine and was always connected when i had comcast.

Also, It says that the connection is very good or excellent always and that it is connected but for some reason when you try to go on the internet it doesnt work, any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks,

well truebe, your problem could be one of several things. it could be that the wireless b signal is not strong enough, or it could be that you are using a dell.
