Wireless issues

The problem seems to be Norton Internet Security, which I'm guessing is the same as a Firewall. I have no clue why it would interfere, and have actually not figured it out so I've just had it disabled the past couple days. I will likely give Compaq a call soon and talk to them about it.

*Edit* as for what you said about DNS when I manually entered DNS Ip's under TCP/IP settings it did nothing.

If it did nothing when you try to access the web page on the browser, try to ping the web page. If ping can go through if you do ping www.google.com that means you have connectivity and DNS is working. But if the web browser is refusing to let you connect to the web page, that is usually an indication of an application layer problem most likely a software firewall (proxy, software firewall, Norton in your case maybe).
