Wireless Internet for Acer Laptop.....?

K, I just bought a Acer 3004WLCI and it is WIFI certified. I'm kind of new to the whole wireless laptop stuff and I can't find info anywhere. Can someone please help me on what all I need to buy. We have wireless DSL on this computer down in my basement and the laptop will be running wireless upstairs. Thanks

You probably have a DSL modem that provides wireless connectivity to 1 computer in your house, in order to add a second computer you would probably have to buy additional fee and the ISP will unlock a second private IP address from the DHCP server for your second computer.

But you should look into a wireless router that would only cost you around $50, you will be able to share up to 4 computer via cable and probably as many computer you want on the wireless signal.
