Wireless Help

Hi, can anyone help?

Linksys WAG54GS.

I've recently got BT adsl, and now wish to go wireless, so purchased the above modem / router. It doesn't matter whether I use the setup CD, or go through 192.168.1.1 for setup, I can't get it to recognise my current connection. I have lights on for power, dsl, and the wan, but red for internet. I know the router actually works because I seem to have set up the wirless network no problem, the laptop connects fine, excellent strength, but no internet to share ?

Thought it might be a problem with the microfilter, so removed that from the equation and connected the router straight to the wall but no difference.

Anyone's help would be appreciated.

I will assume that you have an existing account and an ASDL modem AND before getting the new modem / router could connect to the internet ???

how are you authenticated by your isp to use their network ?
for virizon it is a user name and password, for cavtel it is a unique ip address....etc.... Have you set this up yet ?
