wireless file sharing

basically i have 5 computers at home, 4 desktops + 1 laptop. i want to share files betweeen the laptop (windows xp home) and my desktop (windows vista ultimate). i have a BT Voyager 2100 router. ive set up folders for sharing on both systems, each with random files put in for testing purposes. so far ive managed to get the computers too see each other in the "my network places", however i cannot access the files. im not sure what to do next, if someone could give me a simple guide i would be grateful

Are you getting an error message when trying to access the other computer over the network or can you just not see the shared folders?

also run "home setup wizard" and enable file and printer sharing
