I recently acquired a Intel Celeron cpu with 900 MHz. I installed Windows XP and hard wired through my router for some updates. After updating I installed wireless network card just as the instrucations say. But then the next time I boot up the computer freezes when I get to my desktop screen. If I restart, it doesn't even go past the memory test. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Try moving the card to a different slot and make sure you have the latest drivers and service pack 2. If the problem persist, you either have a faulty card or not enough power to support the new hardware.

If you think you don't have adequate power, you can unplug/remove any unecessary devices including the floppy drive, CD/DVD drive, any PCI devices. Leave the video card, cpu, ram, harddrive, and wireless nic.
