wireless delimma

I have a wireless router, a computer connected to the wireless router via wireless card, and i have a slingbox. I want to connect my slingbox to the network, but it is not close enough to be connected via wire to the router. I am trying to figure out how to share my connection from the computer to the slingbox via crossover cable, but im having problems. I have shared my connection using ICS before wirelessly from my laptop to a ps2 and it worked, and I am trying the same thing trying to share my connection from my computer on wireless to my laptop to see if it works but no luck. Basically I am testing to see if I can share a connection from my computer to my laptop (my laptop acting as the slingbox for now to see if I can get the connection). It would be nice If I could go along this route... wireless router ))) pc w/wifi card <---> wireless router #2 >---> slingbox/or laptop ))) = wireless signal, <---> = crossover cable, and >---> = straight ethernet cable.
