I have a Compaq nc6000 wireless laptop. It works fine in my own home as well as many hot spots, but I am having problem connecting to my friend's wireless network. I entered the wep key and my laptop detects the network but when I click 'connect' comes back with "Wireless connection unavailable". Can someone help, please!

try turning off xp firewalls on both machines
- Status
