wireless connection & savemode ?

is it possible to establish a wireless connection to the Internet while running in savemode environment ?

for sure I log to savemode with networking !!

Must likely because safemode with networking should have the networking services running. But I may be wrong because I've never tried it on a wireless connection, however I know for sure that wired connection should work because I've done it in the past when getting rid of spywares and stuff.
